The Company’s annual fall season brings together international guest artists with company dancers and musicians. It is in these concerts that new choreographies and music are brought to the stage for the first time and audiences are offered a spectacular evening that rivals flamenco performed anywhere in the world.

The Esmeralda Enrique Spanish Dance Company maintains a bust performance schedule that includes local, regional and national engagements including festivals and cross-cultural events.

The Academy of Spanish Dance

We recognize that a great majority of Canadian students of Spanish dance cannot readily commute to Spain for further studies. The Academy of Spanish Dance in collaboration with the Esmeralda Enrique Spanish Dance Company creates a series of workshops throughout the year to bring Spain to Canada.

The annual student recital called “Fiesta Flamenca” is held in the spring at a local theatre. Students from the Academy perform regularly at community events and private functions.
