Children's Classes
Children's classes are for ages 6-15 and are held from September to June. The director and teachers will place your child in the appropriate class after assessment, depending on age, ability and previous training. Please call the school to discuss your child's class placement.
Children receive training in the fundamentals of flamenco dance as well as traditional Spanish dances. Castanet playing, footwork, arm and hand movement, turns as well as body placement are emphasized. Skills in working as a group and making formations, listening and developing musicality and expressing through movement are nurtured.
